WHY "SALTY"?

Our name isn't just a volleyball brand. It represents what we want our athletes to carry with them long after they leave the court. Salty Volleyball Club was inspired by Mark 9:50: "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves and be at peace with each other." — Mark 9:50. Salt has purpose. It preserves. It strengthens. It adds something wherever it goes. For us, being Salty means carrying your faith, character, work ethic, and influence into every environment you enter. It means being someone who makes their team better. Someone who encourages instead of tears down. Someone who competes fiercely while still showing respect. Someone who leads when it's difficult. Someone whose character doesn't change depending on who's watching. We want our athletes to understand that their influence reaches so much further than volleyball. How they treat teammates matters. How they respond to adversity matters. How they represent themselves, their families, their team, and their faith matters. That's where Salty began. And it's still at the heart of everything we do.
