OUR STORY

Salty Volleyball Club was founded by Hunter and Kassi Bevill with a simple vision: create the kind of volleyball club we would want our own athletes to be part of. A place where athletes can compete at a high level without losing sight of what youth sports should ultimately be about. Development. Opportunity. Faith. Character. Relationships. And genuine love for the game.

From the beginning, we wanted Salty to be different. We wanted to create an environment where athletes are challenged, expectations are high, communication matters, and every player has an opportunity to grow. But we also wanted something deeper at the center of our club. We wanted our faith to guide how we coach, how we compete, how we treat people, and how we serve our community.

Salty isn't about creating the biggest club. It's about building the right club.



A club where athletes are known by their coaches. Where families feel connected. Where teammates support one another. Where hard work is expected. Where grace is given. Where developing as a person is just as important as developing an athlete. What started with a passion for volleyball and a desire to create something different has grown into a community of athletes, coaches, and families who believe in what we're building together. And we're just getting started.

At Salty Volleyball Club, we believe volleyball is about more than wins, rankings, and trophies. It's an opportunity to develop confident athletes, strong leaders, supportive teammates, and exceptional people — on and off the court. Our Christian faith is at the foundation of who we are and how we lead. We believe God has given each athlete unique gifts, abilities, and opportunities, and our responsibility as coaches is to help athletes develop those gifts while teaching them to compete with character, humility, confidence, and purpose. We provide competitive volleyball opportunities, intentional coaching, and an environment where athletes are challenged to grow while knowing they are valued for far more than their performance on the court.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to develop confident athletes, strong leaders, supportive teammates, and exceptional people on and off the court through competitive volleyball, intentional coaching, and a culture rooted in Christian faith, accountability, character, and community.

We strive to provide athletes with high-level training and meaningful competitive opportunities while keeping club volleyball accessible to families in our community. We want our athletes to pursue excellence while understanding that their identity and worth are not determined by playing time, statistics, wins, or losses. Volleyball is something they do. It doesn't define who they are. Success isn't measured only by what happens on the scoreboard. It's measured by who our athletes become along the way.

FAITH AT SALTY

Faith isn't just something we put on a jersey. It's part of how we operate. Our Christian faith influences how we coach, how we lead, how we communicate, and how we treat one another. We believe volleyball is a powerful platform for developing character, leadership, and life skills that reach far beyond the court. We encourage our athletes to use their talents with purpose, support the people around them, respond to adversity with character, and understand that being a leader often means serving others first. We aren't expecting perfect athletes. We aren't expecting perfect coaches. And we aren't expecting perfect families. We're building a community committed to growth, grace, accountability, and becoming better together.
